Yesterday, the Minister of State for Sports, Hon. Peter Ogwang, inspected the ongoing works at Hoima City Stadium ahead of its official unveiling later this month.
Contractors SUMMA informed the Minister that the multi-sports complex is 95% complete and will be fully ready for the October unveiling. However, the official handover of the facility is scheduled for December.
Hon. Ogwang was accompanied by a team from the National Council of Sports (NCS), including Board Member Jackline Basemera, General Secretary Dr. Bernard Patrick Ogwel, Assistant General Secretary (Admin) Joseph Oluga, and Engineering Officer Nicholas. Also present were the project consultant from the Ministry of Works and officials from Hoima City.
