Michael Ayepa, the PDM Regional Coordinator for the Karamoja sub-region, is concerned about how the PDM funds are sitting idle in bank accounts because people were not adequately mobilized to receive the money.
However, UBC has stepped up its efforts to solve the publicity challenge by conducting a rapid digital content skills development for PDM in UBC Totore FM in Karamoja. This is aimed at ascertaining digital content skills development among the staff to be able to collect, develop, program, broadcast and preserve PDM funds monitoring content.
Through its far reaching 11 radios and 4 TV stations,UBC is playing a pivotal role in following up on how the funds are being given out to the people in different communities by government.
