ALLIED HEALTH PROFFESSIONALS STICK ON STRIKE AS NURSES BOW DOWN

Allied Health Professionals have run to courts of law and vowed to continue with their industrial Action despite government’s order to return on duty.

However the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Union has called off their industrial Action and ordered their members to get back on duty today Monday.

This according to the President Allied Health Professionals Patrick Elonget says the alleged government engagement is discriminatory.

Uganda Nurses and Midwives Union has bowed down to the directive of government to get back on duty tomorrow or risk losing their jobs.

However Allied Health Professionals have vowed to continue with their industrial action

Patrick Elonget says their services are not felt.

He says Allied Health professionals are not supportive services but part of the systems of health.

Allied Health professionals have engaged a legal team to ensure that their issues are handled.
