PM Nabbanja has spent a day in Buvuma District and Nakawa Division in Kampala Mobilising residents to embrace the Parish Development Model.
While in Buvuma, Nabbanja in company of State Minister Diana Mutasingwa and Minister Amos Lugoloobi, Buvuma fishing community demand for special consideration under PDM to address the biting poverty in the area.
The district of Buvuma characterized under the hard to reach category is made up of over 52 islands.
Residents say that PDM is a good intervention but the fishing community require a unique approach if the people are to join the money economy.
The Premier asked residents to engage in profitable ventures to benefit from PDM.
Nabbanja later joined Minister for Presidency Milly Babalanda ,State Minister for Kampala Kyofa ,KCCA executive director, area MPs and leaders at Nakawa Division in Kampala on a similar objective.
