Hunger in karamoja claim 300 lives -gov’t commits ugx135bn for approval as relief aid package

Cabinet has approved 135bn shillings to buy relief food for at least three months and seedlings to the farmers in Karamoja. The revelation made by the Prime Minister Robinah Nabanja to the house comes on the heels of complaints by members of Parliament from Karamoja over alleged deaths of Karamojongs due to hunger and famine.
