Government is to give more priority to the practice of Climate Smart Agriculture as a way of addressing factors leading the environmental degradation in the country.
This commitment is seen in the ongoing financial year where US $ 334M has been invested in mechanization, seed multiplication, Research as well as Pests and Disease Control.
The Minister for Finance, Planning and economic Development Matia Kasaija was speaking during the unveiling of the 2024/2025 Budget Strategy at an event Officiated by the Prime Minister of Uganda Robinah Nabbanja.
