In a ceremonial tribute to the late H.E. Dr. Hage Gottfried Geingob, President Museveni’s representative, Special Envoy Rt. Hon. Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, stood amidst dignitaries at the state funeral in Windhoek, Namibia.
The Ugandan delegation, including Hon. Vincent Bagiire Waiswa, the Permanent Secretary to Uganda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Non-Resident High Commissioner of Uganda to Namibia, Amoru Paul, gathered in solidarity alongside the Honorary Consul to Namibia, Prince Ndawula Joseph, Mrs. Joan Kategeya, and Mr. Obal Daniel, a presidential aide on youth affairs.
President Geingob’s enduring legacy of championing freedom and unity across Africa resonated deeply, as heartfelt condolences poured in for his family and the people of Namibia. May his soul find eternal peace.
