The Office of the President is under Scrutiny for the Unaccounted 47 Billion Shillings.

The Office of the President has come under scrutiny for failing to account for 47 billion shillings allocated for the implementation of outputs in the financial year 2022/23. The Auditor General found that two outputs with 20 activities worth 35.68 billion shillings were only partially implemented, while the entity fully executed 16 activities. The Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament expressed concern over the lack of accountability for taxpayer funds and resolved to sustain the query.
