Uganda is taking part in the 15th Islamic Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) which opened 4th May 2024 in Banjul, The Gambia.
Uganda Delegation is led by Rt Hon Rukia Isanga Nakadama, 3rd Deputy Prime Minister.
The Summit was officially opened by HE Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of the Gambia
The main focus of the meeting is the crisis in Palestine.
The Summit was preceded by Senior Officials meeting and Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs.
