The Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja, has officially opened the three-day National Annual Performance Review Conference at the Speke Resort Convention Centre in Munyonyo.
The conference brings together ministers, technical staff from various Ministries, Departments and Agencies, as well as development partners to assess Uganda’s progress and strengthen service delivery.
In her remarks, Nabbanja commended participants for attending the opening session and urged them to remain engaged throughout the conference, which will be concluded by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Held under the theme, “Coordinated Actions for Accelerated National Socio-Economic Transformation amidst Global Partnership Reform,” the conference provides a platform for reflection, accountability, and renewed commitment to Uganda’s development agenda.
Organised by the Office of the Prime Minister, the review conference stands out for covering three key assessments: national annual performance, local government performance, and implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Nabbanja called on participants to focus on practical solutions, innovation, and measurable outcomes that can improve service delivery and create opportunities for citizens.
“Our ultimate goal is clear: to improve service delivery, create opportunities for our people, and ensure that no Ugandan is left behind,” she said.
The annual conference is a key government platform aimed at evaluating progress and aligning efforts towards Uganda’s socio-economic transformation.
