The 5-star twin-tower luxury property which will soon be opened to the public is located on Ggaba Road in Nsambya. The Director Economic Affairs, Moses Kaggwa,accompained by the Commissioner Tax Policy, John Byahuranga and other Ministry officials yesterday had a guided tour of the property to assess its progress.
The team was recieved and taken on the guided tour of the top luxury branded hotel by the Chairman of the property & also founder & owner of Capital Shoppers,Mr. Ponsiano Ngabirano.
The Director Economic Affairs said this is one of the projects the Government is supporting, adding that, he was happy with the progress already registered.
“Part of Government policy is to support branded 5 star international standard hotels to attract ultra-rich tourists,” said Kaggwa, adding that under tourism which is one of the anchor sectors (ATMS), government is targeting to double the number of tourists and also double the money spent in Uganda.
The exquisite property now under the supervision of Marriott Management also features executive apartments with exceptional luxury for top-tier clients.
The Marriott team is already on-site conducting final touches ahead of the official opening of the world class hotel and perhaps the best in the region.
