More than 67,000 people from around the world took part in the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s annual UK convention, Jalsa Salana UK 2026, which concluded on Sunday with a call for peace, unity and spiritual renewal.
According to organisers, the three-day convention attracted over 51,000 attendees at Hadeeqatul Mahdi in Alton, Hampshire, while more than 16,000 others joined virtually from 117 Ahmadiyya centres in 62 countries.
The closing session was presided over by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Fifth Caliph and Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
During the ceremony, a message of congratulations from His Majesty King Charles III was read to participants by the UK Amir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Rafiq Ahmad Hayat.
The convention also recognised academic excellence among Ahmadi students and announced that the 2026 Ahmadiyya Muslim Prize for the Advancement of Peace had been awarded to Sompop Jantraka of Thailand in recognition of his contribution to peace and humanitarian work.
In his concluding address, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad urged members to fulfil the conditions of their pledge of allegiance through practical acts of worship, truthfulness, compassion and service to humanity.
He called on Ahmadis worldwide to strengthen their relationship with God, uphold justice and honesty, and contribute to building peaceful communities wherever they live.
The annual Jalsa Salana UK remains one of the largest gatherings of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, bringing together participants from across the world for prayer, religious learning and discussions on peace, morality and social responsibility.
