The French Embassy in Uganda, in collaboration with Acted and the Caritas Moroto Diocese, has launched a significant new project aimed at enhancing food security and nutritional health for 1,500 households in the Karamoja region, with a primary focus on supporting women.
This initiative is backed by a food aid grant worth 535,000 euros (over Shs. 2.1 billion) provided by the French Embassy Uganda to Acted. The project will benefit vulnerable households in the Nakapiripirit and Amudat districts, aiming to improve their overall food security and nutritional health.
