Senior Presidential Advisor and National Resistance Movement (NRM) Chairperson for Kayunga District, Moses Karangwa Kalisa, has died following a tragic accident.
The news of his passing was announced by the Minister for Defence and Veteran Affairs, Milly Babalanda, who described Kalisa as a valued member of the ruling NRM party.
In a condolence message shared on X, Babalanda said Kalisa would be remembered for his loyalty and service to the party.
“It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of the Senior Presidential Advisor and Chairperson of NRM Kayunga District, Moses Karangwa Kalisa, following a tragic accident,” she said.
She added that Kalisa had played an important role within the National Resistance Movement and extended condolences to his family during the difficult time.
Details surrounding the accident were not immediately available by press time.
Kalisa served as the NRM Chairperson for Kayunga District while also holding the position of Senior Presidential Advisor.
