KCCA FC Renews Chint Uganda Partnership in UGX840 Million Deal

KCCA FC has renewed its partnership with Chint Uganda in a deal worth UGX840 million, as the club prepares for the 2026/27 football season.

The new agreement, announced in Kampala on Tuesday, will see Chint Uganda retain its position as KCCA FC’s principal shirt sponsor and lighting partner, supporting night matches at the Philip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

The new deal more than doubles the value of the previous partnership, which was worth UGX400 million.

KCCA Executive Director Sharifah Buzeki said the partnership has delivered tangible benefits to the club, particularly through the installation of floodlights and provision of a generator at the stadium.

Buzeki thanked Chint Uganda for its continued support over the past four years, saying the company’s contribution has helped create the necessary environment for night football at the Philip Omondi Stadium.

She also called on more companies to invest in Ugandan football, noting that stronger private-sector partnerships are needed to support clubs and improve sports infrastructure.

Minister for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs Hajjat Minsa Kabanda also commended Chint Uganda for its continued support and encouraged other companies to invest in the development of Ugandan football.

Chint Uganda Chief Executive Officer Sherry Shi Namutebi described the renewed partnership as an important milestone for the company and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting KCCA FC.

KCCA Deputy Executive Director Benon Kigenyi said the club was proud of its four-year relationship with Chint Uganda and the journey they had taken together.

KCCA FC Chairperson Eng. Andrew Sserunjoji meanwhile appealed to the club’s supporters to support Chint Uganda as a way of appreciating the company’s contribution to the club.

The partnership renewal comes shortly after KCCA FC won the FUFA Super 8 tournament, giving the club momentum ahead of the new season.

During the event, KCCA FC also unveiled its new home jersey, featuring the Chint Uganda brand, as well as its new team bus and new players ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

The event also included a tour of Chint Uganda’s facilities, where guests were taken through the company’s electrical and energy solutions, including switches, solar systems, cables and electric vehicle charging systems, alongside home and interior products.
