President Yoweri Museveni has re-emphasized the need for import substitution and export promotion as a way of driving Uganda’s industrial and development agenda. Museveni reechoes the need to extend more support to private players in industrial development. This was contained in a message read for him by the Vice President Major Retired Jessica Alupo at the opening of Riham Industries in Kawempe.
