The NRM Deputy Secretary General, Rt Hon. Namayanja Rose Nsereko, conducted a security briefing at the party headquarters yesterday in preparation for today’s inauguration of the NRM membership register update by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who also serves as the NRM National Chairman.
The gathering included representatives from the Uganda Police, UPDF, SFC, ISO, ESO, CMI, Crime Intelligence, and other security entities.
During the session, Rt. Hon. Namayanja delivered a comprehensive overview of the forthcoming event, highlighting the indispensable roles of each security agency in ensuring both the smooth operation and safety of the registration process.
Moreover, she underscored the significance of collaborative efforts in maintaining order and addressing any potential obstacles that might arise during the registration exercise.
