President Yoweri Museveni has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan following the death of her husband, Hafidh Hassan.
In his message, President Museveni expressed sympathy to President Samia, her family and the people of Tanzania during this difficult period.
He acknowledged President Samia’s dedication to Tanzania and Africa, noting the close cooperation between Uganda and Tanzania over the years.
President Museveni highlighted several joint initiatives between the two countries, including the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, roads, energy projects and the Standard Gauge Railway.
