The Ministry of ICT and National guidance is pushing for tax waivers on technological devices such as smartphones as part of a comprehensive plan geared at accelerating digital penetration. Dr Amina Zawedde, the Permanent secretary of ICT ministry says Uganda’s first digital transformation roadmap which covers the digital agenda strategy will be unveiled on 17th August 2023.
