Kenyan Delegates Embark on Familiarization Trip to Explore Uganda’s Premier Tourism Destinations

Delegates from Kenya will be arriving for a familiarization trip to Uganda, scheduled to take place from November 9-18, 2024.

During the trip, the delegates will visit Kibale National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Semliki National Park, Kidepo National Park, and Murchison Falls National Park. They will also engage in adventure tourism on the Nile and experience Kampala’s nightlife.

The purpose of the familiarization trip is to expose Kenyan tourism stakeholders to Uganda’s niche tourism products, enabling them to effectively market what they have firsthand knowledge of. Additionally, the delegates will participate in the 3rd Uganda-Kenya Coast Tourism Conference, set to be held from November 20-21, 2024, at Speke Resort, Munyonyo. A total of seventy (70) Kenyan tourism stakeholders will take part in the familiarization trip.
