UBOS Highlights Upcoming Statistical Reports to Support National Planning

The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) has announced upcoming statistical releases that are expected to provide key insights into the country’s socio-economic conditions.

On behalf of the Executive Director, UBOS Spokesperson Didacus Okoth provided an update on the UBOS Dissemination Calendar and the Malaria Indicator Survey Report, outlining the major reports scheduled for release in the coming months.

Okoth revealed that the Harmonized Indicator Survey Report, expected to be released on May 7, 2026, will present updated national indicators on household living conditions, poverty levels, and employment trends in Uganda.

The report is anticipated to offer policymakers, researchers, and development partners valuable data to guide planning and decision-making across various sectors.

Okoth emphasized that all the reports will be made publicly available through the UBOS website, ensuring that citizens and stakeholders have access to reliable national statistics.

He noted that the information will play a critical role in supporting evidence-based planning, informed public debate, and effective policy formulation aimed at improving the welfare of Ugandans.
