Today Hon Atima Jackson along with the team lead by Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa have been joined by Hon Dr Ruth Nankabirwa Minister of Energy and Mineral Development, attending the 34th Uganda National American Association ( UNAA) Convention & Trade Expo in San Francisco, California to amplify the need for more investments in Uganda.
Under the convention theme of: “ Recovery Beyond the Pandemic: Embracing New Opportunities for a Greater Diaspora” being addressed through many unique and innovative ways, and sharing of knowledge, experiences, and expertise.
Hon Atima in a discussion with the participants he has encouraged the people in the diaspora to come to West Nile especially Arua City to invest there, as the sub region has great potential and ready market within and across the borders in DR Congo, Central African Republic and South Sudan.
